Message from the Head of the Department of Financial and Banking Sciences
The science of finance and banking is of great importance to society in general, and to business owners in particular. This is due to the significant and active role it plays in the business world, through the valuable information provided by accountants for making sound decisions that benefit various stakeholders in the financial system's outputs, across both public and private sectors. Furthermore, the increasing interest of students in the Department of Finance and Banking in recent years is not surprising, given the excellent opportunities graduates find in the job market, whether in the public or private sector.
Accordingly, since its establishment in 2018, the Department of Financial and Banking Sciences at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Fallujah, has adopted an important motto: "Success for those who deserve it." This places a professional and ethical responsibility on the department's administration to instill professional ethics on one hand, and public service ethics on the other, into the minds and consciences of its students. This requires providing them with all modern information in the fields of accounting, auditing, and other related sciences such as statistics, economics, and management, in accordance with the latest advancements in these fields.
Therefore, the department's administration and all its staff strive for high-quality higher education, as it is a strategic issue that cannot be ignored or overlooked. Improving the quality of education has become an important and strategic goal for all departments, colleges, and universities aspiring to achieve leadership and excellence. This is because the major challenge they face now and in the future is their ability to provide high-quality educational and research services that meet the specifications of distinguished graduates who fulfill the needs of society and the labor market, and contribute to achieving development programs and their requirements.
In conclusion, the department's administration and council aim to overcome all the challenges faced due to working conditions and their variables, and to build its own development strategy to achieve the required quality according to international education indicators.
