Publication Guidelines
Conditions for Publication:
- The Journal of Business Economics for Applied Research publishes high-quality scientific research from scholars in the fields related to the college (Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Public Administration, Statistics, and Informatics), whether from within or outside the university, in Arabic or English.
- The submitted paper must not have been previously published or submitted elsewhere. Authors must provide a written declaration to confirm this.
- The allowed plagiarism rate must not exceed 20% overall, with no more than 5% from a single source.
- All submissions undergo blind peer review following recognized academic standards.
- Authors must complete required revisions within one week of receiving feedback. Otherwise, the journal reserves the right to decline publication.
- Submitted papers will not be returned, whether published or not.
- Papers are published based on the order of submission to the journal’s editorial secretary. The editorial board reserves the right to reject any paper without stating reasons, and its decision is final.
Submission Instructions:
- The research paper must fall within the journal’s scope and adhere to standard academic methodology. It may be submitted in Arabic or English.
- The paper must not have been published or submitted elsewhere. A separate declaration from the author is required.
- Submissions must be made exclusively online via the journal's website:
https://uofbejar.net - Each paper must include abstracts in both Arabic and English, not exceeding 200 words.
- The paper must contain at least 5 keywords, listed immediately after the abstract.
- A fee of 125,000 IQD is required upon submission for review. The paper must not exceed 20 A4 pages. For every additional page beyond this, an extra fee of 10,000 IQD per page will be charged, up to a maximum of 25 pages total.
- The first page must include the following under the paper title:
- Full name of the author(s) in Arabic and English
- Affiliation and institutional address in Arabic and English
- Submission date
- Email of the main author and all co-authors
- In-text citation format:
- For Arabic: (محمد، 2020: 12)
- For English: (Rippin, 2018: 17)
- All references must be listed at the end of the paper in one alphabetically ordered list.
- Tables and figures must be numbered sequentially as they appear in the paper.
- The author is responsible for all publication-related fees.
Technical Formatting Specifications:
- Margins:
- Top & Bottom: 3 cm
- Right & Left: 2.5 cm
- Use justified alignment for the text.
- All graphs and illustrations must be clear and complete.
- Font requirements:
- Arabic: Times New Roman, size 12, line spacing 1.15 for main text; size 14 bold for titles
- English: Times New Roman, size 12, line spacing 1.15 for main text; size 14 bold for titles
- Arabic and English abstracts should appear on one page, with pages numbered consecutively.
- Table titles should be placed above the table; sources below.
- Figure titles and sources should both be placed below the figure.
